Ajay Devgn to make cameo in Marathi film produced by him starring Nana Patekar
Actor Ajay Devgn, who is producing an untitled Marathi film, is set to do a cameo in the Nana Patekar-starrer. Ajay Devgn Ffilm Productions in association with Watergate Production will be producing a number of Hindi and regional films.
With the intent of meaningful cinema, the production house has already put an untitled Marathi film on the floor, which stars Nana Patekar. Directed by Satish Rajwade, it will have Ajay doing a cameo, read a statement from the actor's publicist.
The film, touted as a family drama, also stars Sumeet Raghavan and Iravati Harshe. It is being produced by Ajay Devgn Ffilm Productions and Abhinav Shuklaa and Manish Mishra of Watergate Production and co-produced by Nana Patekar under Gajanan Chitra.
Ajay's wife and actress Kajol gave the ‘mahurat clap' for the film in May.
The actor's upcoming projects include heist adventure film Baadshaho, which is set against the backdrop of the Emergency, and Golmaal Again, the latest film from the Golmaal franchise directed by Rohit Shetty. While the former will hit the big screen on 1 September, the latter is scheduled for a Diwali release.
It is also being speculated that he will play yoga guru Baba Ramdev in an upcoming biopic, after A Death In The Gunj actor Vikrant Massey reportedly backed out.
