Singer-actor Aditya Narayan was caught on tape threatening an Indigo airlines employee. As per News18 , the singer was coming to Mumbai after a performance in Raipur and was carrying excess baggage. On being stopped by the airline personnel, he allegedly started cross-questioning the man on duty.
In the video, both Narayan and the in-charge can be seen arguing with each other. In the end, it all boils down to Narayan saying that he will “handle the matter once he lands in Mumbai.”
He also swears to teach the person on duty a lesson, using his name to threaten him further before angrily walking away.
According to the airline, he started misbehaving with the staff after being told that he had crossed his baggage limit. However, the singer alleges that the misconduct was on the airline’s part. He was ultimately forced to apolgise to the worker before being permitted to board the flight.
An insider tells News18, that after the Ravindra Gaikwad incident, airlines seem to have tightened their grip around passengers unnecessarily, often threatening to blacklist them for no reason.
