Invest in UP, I shall take care of your woes: Akhilesh to investers

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav today assured investors of all possible help and timely action on their grievances.

“There is vast investment opportunities in the state, where you will get all possible help from the government, which is committed to develop the state,” Yadav said while addressing delegation of global investors conference in Lucknow.

He also assured investors that their grievances will be resolved.

Seeking support of investors, Yadav said the Samajwadi Party government has set an agenda for development on which time-bound action is ensured and its results have also started coming in the short duration.

The delegation assured the chief minister to support the state in the development and expressed their desire to investment in energy and infrastructure projects.

Yadav said priority areas of the government are electricity, road, industries, medial and health, agriculture, tourism, information and technology, among others.

He said in the power sector, project of 1,500 MW are underway and would started giving results in a year and added that Agra-Lucknow highway work for broadening 26 main roads across the state is underway.

Industrial clusters are being planned alongside these roads, he said, adding that decision has been taken to set up trauma centres, mobile units, service delivery system, medical emergency and diagnostic centre on PPP basis.

The chief minister said the state is going to implement IT policy, which would benefit common man.
