The army has been called out to prevent further riots that could easily have been prevented with some preventive action. The Samajwadi Party state government has failed to handle the law and order in
the state and in particular communal violence which has been on the rise since it took over. Akhilesh Yadav, in trying to hold on to a minority votebank is merely allowing violence to fester in the state, and should resign for failing to prevent riots.
The Chief Minister is the victim of other parties that are attempting to rake up communal violence in the state in order to further their own ends. The increase in communal riots is entirely political
in nature and need to be dealt with an iron hand by the state government. Being headless at a time like this wouldn’t help in any way and if anything it requires Akhilesh Yadav to work harder at this time to ensure peace is restored before the next general elections.
