Mukesh Ambani’s 22-year-old daughter Isha Ambani, who is the second youngest billionaire heiress in the world, has decided to give Reliance Industries a miss for now and instead will be joining global consultancy firm McKinsey in the US, t_he Economic Times_ reported today.
Her twin Akash Ambani, who got his undergraduate degree from Brown University in the US, is part of the decision-making team at RIL’s telecom arm Reliance Jio, while younger brother Anant is still studying in the US.

According to the ET report, a stint at McKinsey may help Isha prepare for taking on a bigger leading role at RIL.
Even Ajay Piramal’s daughter Nandini Piramal worked with McKinsey before joining her father in 2006 whereas Wpro chairman Azim Premhi’s son Rishad Premji worked at Bain & Co as a consultant in London before he joined Wipro. Shravin Mittal, son of Bharti Airtel founder and chairman Sunil Mittal, worked as a tech analyst with JP Morgan as well as with Merrill Lynch before joining Bharti Airtel International-Netherlands
Isha studied at Yale and majored in South Asian Studies and Psychology.
