Capgemini India, the provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, has won a contract for design and implementation of Shared Services Center (SSC) for JSW group – an $11 billion conglomerate. Capgemini has secured the mandate based on its domain expertise and successful implementations of SSC projects globally.
The new integrated platform will bring together critical functions across business units such as finance and accounts, procurement, supply chain management and human resources. The work will involve consolidation of common back office functions for group companies, standardisation of processes and functions across locations, as well as better governance and control.
