Backstreet's back, and so is Nsync. This is not a drill. Backstreet Boys and Nsync are going to be sharing screen space for a zombie movie. They are not playing games with your heart! #sorrynotsorry
The film is titled 'Dead 7' and it follows a bunch of boys (more like men?) from several bands including 98 degrees and O-town as well, as they try to fight zombies in a post-apocalyptic universe.
The film is being produced by Nick Carter, who along with his bffs, AJ McLean of Backstreet Boys, and Joey Fatone of NSync, got together sometime last year to conceptualise Dead 7, according to this Buzzfeed article.
Dead 7 is a co-production between Nick Carter and production company The Asylum. Carter has also co-written the script.
The trailer of the film has a gory, western setting and the background score includes songs from the 90s bands. It also has one liners like, "say bye bye bye to Zombies" and "To fight the undead, you have to resurrect '90s boybands."
