Beyonce might wake up looking like a million bucks, but it turns out that most celebrities look just messy and zonked as the rest of us lesser mortals when they wake up in the morning. How do we know this? Because of the latest hashtag to sweep through the internet: the #wakeupcall campaign by Unicef. Everyone, move away from your ice buckets, slowly. [caption id=“attachment_1749811” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] The #wakeupcall campaign was started by journalist and campaigner Jemima Khan. It asks you to post an early morning selfie with the hashtag #wakeupcall and hopes you will also donate to Unicef’s Wake Up Call, which is helping rehabilitate Syrian children who have had to flee their country. Already, the selfies of several stars are already doing the rounds on Twitter, helping us decipher their sleep patterns, morning routines and of course, their selfie ‘skillz’. Here’s what we’ve gleaned from the hashtag. 1. Look at model Daisy Lowe’s #wakeupcall selfie. If you notice, she has mastered the art of pouting and is impressively selfie-ready. Pop culture connoissuers will know that the art of the selfie-pout was invented by the Kardashian and Jenner sisters. Several other celebrities are trying to master it.

2.Nigella Lawson doesn’t seem to be a morning person, if her photo is any indication. Considering how angrily she’s eyeing the sunlight in the room, it’s a miracle she can actually make her way out of bed and into the kitchen to make the yummy breakfasts that she’s shown us in her tv show. But more power to her for keeping things real.

3. Stop.stare.admire. Now note how uncannily similar Tom Hiddleston and Jim Carrey from the film The Mask can look. Well, early mornings can do that to people. It’s not just you who looks like a zombie rising from the dead; Tom Hiddleston is in your camp.
#WAKEUPCALL Text SYRIA to 70007 to give £5. http://t.co/Urt3n8y6WE. Nominate @Misskeeleyhawes @EmWatson @josierourke pic.twitter.com/30a8RykcW9

4. Hugh Grant took this challenge a little too far. For the #Wakeupcall photo, it seems he woke up not just in the morning, but also in a distant future. In the photo that the actor shared on Twitter, he looks a much older version of himself. There is not a trace of Daniel Clever from Bridget Jones’ Diary or William “Will” Thacker from Nothing Hill in there. It’s actually a shot of Grant from Cloud Atlas, but clearly, in real life, Grant is not a morning person.
#WAKEUPCALL I nominate @JohnCleese, @KP24, @JohnBishop. pic.twitter.com/pickqjLFhF

5. Last but not the least, Jeremy Clarkson, the presenter of BBC show Top Gear also tweeted out his photo. However, in the photo we see him in bed, with star chef Heston Blumenthal. While thankfully the two aren’t cosying up, Clarkson has already warned us, that more of such pictures are on their way, if you do not donate for Syrian kids. While we are yet to know if the threat has worked or not, the photograph itself has garnered 2.1 thousand retweets and 3.7 thousand people have favourited it.
#WAKEUPCALL SYRIA Unless you donate at http://t.co/XbHKmi3YPh I will post more pictures of Blumenthal and me. pic.twitter.com/n8JmWl4mac
