This is what counts as disorderly conduct now: DJ fined for playing NWA's 'F*ck tha Police' while cops raided a bar

According to allegations filed in Westfield District Court, last October when the copes tried to clear out a crowd of 350 people from the 160-capacity Shenanigans Pub, a Westfield police officer took notice of DJ Boogy's (Kashawn Harris) selection of the track and wrote him a summons for disorderly conduct, reports MassLive.

"I believed at that time the combination of alcohol, the excessive amount of people in the bar and the song that the DJ chose to play at that time was an intentional act by the DJ to incite the crowd which showed a reckless disregard for public safety," Officer Juanita Mejias wrote in her report.

Mejias states that a fire marshal had requested police to clear the path into the bar and get the crowd to leave. When she asked Harris to shut off the music, he allegedly started playing the NWA's 1988 classic, reports the Independent.

Harris has defended himself saying that the song was cued up before the police arrived and a snippet was played before the music was shut down.

"I had no intention of inciting a riot," he told MassLive. "It was just college kids having fun."

On 11 March, Harris he was found responsible and ordered to pay a $50 fine, reports Billboard.

If you were wondering, here is the song in question, just try not playing it during a police raid:
