Snapped! Mallika Sherawat riding pillion with Vivek Oberoi in Mumbai!

Mallika Sherawat flew in from Los Angeles into Mumbai to shoot for her film, Kismet, Love, Paisa, Dilli in the city. From dancing with Hollywood actor Antonio Banderas and creating scandalous waves internationally for being the reason of the Zorro star’s marital rift with wife Melanie Griffith, Mallika’s back to Bollywood basics in Mumbai.

The actress worked the graveyard shift on Wednesday night for the film in Lokhandwala, Mumbai, which she stars in alongside Vivek Oberoi. The scene required her to ride pillion on a moped (which did not have any brakes!) with Vivek as they sped off the marked lines of the shooting area. The actress, more famous for her lithe body, scandalous statements and provocative wardrobe than her acting skills, wore no makeup last night as she filmed the scenes on hand all night. A bare-faced Mallika sighting was a dramatic change from her usual, glamourous, red-carpet self.

Back on the scandals front, she seems to have rumbled the marital equation between Banderas and his wife, just by dancing a tad too closely with the Spaniard in Cannes. Mallika’s representative confirmed the fact that Banderas and she were indeed close friends, whatever that’s supposed to mean! A little dancing and some conversation made for a “close friends” stand? In Mallika and Banderas’ world, it seems it does! The actress is going to Paris on an invitation extended to her by Banderas just as soon as she wraps up work on the Kismet, Love, Paisa, Dilli filming schedule which she gets over in a week. Till then, it’s lights, camera, action in rainy Mumbai for her sans Banderas of course!
