Jul 3, 2012

Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor and former BJP minister Shatrughan Sinha, who was admitted to a hospital following a respiratory disorder, is stable and recuperating, doctors said today.

The 66-year-old actor-turned-politician was rushed to the Kokilaben Hospital yesterday afternoon after he complained of breathlessness due to some ongoing paint work at his residence.

“He had severe respiratory allergic reaction…though he has come out of it. He is stable. He is given appropriate treatment and he is responding,” Dr Ram Narain, Chief Operating Officer of Kolkilaben Hospital, told PTI.

Sinha’s actress daughter Sonakshi tweeted about her father’s health. “Making mountains out of mole hills (baat ka batangadh) about someones health is NOT cool. My father is hale and hearty…Thanks for the concern, but pls… KHAMOSH!!”.
