Shahid Kapoor in Karan Johar’s next?

Shahid Kapoor’s last release, Mausam, directed by his father, Pankaj Kapur, shattered the box office in a way that can only be described as a nightmare for him, after which he took off to Europe for a holiday with his friends. The Spanish holiday with the boys seems to have done him a world of good, so much so that he’s been taking it really easy on the work front, taking his time to read scripts and decide his next lot of films. But it was a working Friday for him on 25 November as he was spotted going into Karan Johar’s office, Dharma Productions on 14th Road, Khar. Shahid went into the office at about 3pm and only left after a good couple of hours at 5pm. Smells less like a coffee with Karan and more like a film with him! The two have not collaborated on a film so far and if indeed they are planning a film together, it sounds interesting already. Raju Shelar/Firstpost”]  [/caption] Karan has recently been busy filming his next directorial, Student Of The Year, starring new faces, in Shimla and Dehradun. Dharma Productions’ next release is Agneepath, directed by Karan Malhotra and stars Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt playing the lead parts. Shahid has been filming Kunal Kohli’s next, which has not been titled yet, with Priyanka Chopra in Mumbai. Despite Mausam’s dismal run at the box office, there is no dearth of filmmakers wanting to work with Shahid. Satish Kaushik too has expressed a desire to cast Shahid as a vampire in his next film, which is a film adaptation of Shantanu Dhar’s best selling book, The Company RED. It remains to be seen what screen avatar Shahid will choose to be seen in next – a vampire in Satish’s film or a glossy hero in Karan’s film.
