Salman Khan, whose visa was rejected by United Kingdom last week, has re-applied. The actor hopes to receive it very soon.
The actor was supposed to be in London to shoot for a film directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film's schedule has already been delayed since Khan was not granted a visa. Although no reason was cited for the denial of the visa to Khan, Midday reported that the cases against Khan are responsible for hiccups in getting a visa. Khan has two cases of poaching against him and he is awaiting verdict in a hit-and-run case.
While Khan couldn't be on location this past week, rumour has it that a body double has been used to shoot parts of Khan's film.
The Indian Express also reported that the unit of Nadiadwala's film has already started shooting portions with Randeep Hooda, until Khan reaches there.
Eleven years after he allegedly ran over a person sleeping on the footpath in a case of drunken driving, Khan was formally charged by a court with culpable homicide not amounting to murder.
The actor has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Khan had appeared in court on July 24 but the final verdict was not given. The court then framed the charges and adjourned the case till August 19.
