Actor Randhir Kapoor who was hospitalised on Thursday after he complained of chest pain and breathless, is stable now and is recovering well.
Kapoor has been in the Breach Candy hospital since Saturday. Initially he was kept under strict observation in the intensive care unit (ICU) however as his health started improving, he was shifted out of ICU.
Times of India reported that the doctors have confirmed that the actor's health is stable now.
The news of Kapoor being in hospital, was followed by a lot of confusion as many in the industry thought that it was Bollywood's heart throb Ranbir Kapoor who was admitted to hospital and Ranbir's mother, yesteryears actress Neetu Singh was flooded with phones calls of people concerned about her son's health.
Neetu Singh not only cleared the confusion but also said that Randhir, Ranbir's uncle, is doing fine and there isn't any cause of worry.
"He had to undergo certain tests at the hospital. But there is nothing to worry about and he is not ill. I would rather say that these are very normal tests that the doctor had prescribed for him." she said to TOI.
Kapoor, son of the legendary actor-director Raj Kapoor, starred in several hit films like Kasme Vaade, Pukar and Chacha Bhatija during the 1970s. The 65-year-old Kapoor's daughters, Karisma and Kareena Kapoor, have also made their mark in Bollywood.
