Pen Pineapple Apple Pen: This cringe pop wonder from Japan has taken internet by storm

There's a new viral internet sensation rocking the world. When the video begins, you might think, "What's new?" But wait till you hear the lyrics of this marvel from Japan.

"PPAP!
I have a pen. I have an apple. AH. Apple-pen!
I have a pen. I have pineapple. AH Pineapple-pen!
Apple-pen.
Pineapple-pen.
Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen…
Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen!"

It's okay. It's okay if you are feeling confused right now. This new... ahem... song (God kill me!!) from Japanese singer-songwriter DJ Kosaka Daimaou aka DJ Piko-Taro has become an internet sensation. Experience the fascinating that is the song 'Pen Pineapple Apple Pen' for yourself.

Besides telling the world that it's okay to mix snake prints with leopard prints,  DJ aka Piko-Taro has also become a viral sensation with his bizarre lyrics, Piko-Taro's infectiously entertaining dance moves and no explanation whatsoever about what a pineapple and an apple are doing around a pair of pens. We really don't know what's going on here, but Piko-Taro really does seem like a fun guy to be around.

It's no wonder that even Justin Bieber couldn't resist this earworm.

What is also intriguing about this video is that the caption has this cryptic message in the video description, "It is ... to the person whom I do not entrust with music to affect a heart."

The 40-year-old singer is yet to reveal what this means and whose heart he wishes to affect. What we are sure of, is that this year's Halloween parties will have a lot of people carrying apples and pineapple in animal print-filled attire!

With thousands of covers, parodies and tributes and over six million views on the original YouTube video, we guess that this you're going to hear a lot more about Pen Pineapple Apple Pen if you don't have it stuck in your head already!
