“I will be hosting the GIMA awards with a special co-host this year. I have a great co-host, but that is a big surprise… you will have to wait and watch. I can’t disclose it now,” Parineeti told IANS.

The actress, who added spark to films like “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl” and “Ishaqzaade”, says her spontaneity might work in her favour when she anchors the awards show.

“After becoming an actress, I have never hosted any show, but during school days, I used to host. I am very spontaneous, so it might work well for me. Just reading the scripts might get boring at times, so I hope my spontaneity works on stage as well,” she added.

GIMA awards the best in the Indian music industry. This will be the third edition of the event.
