New Delhi:  Aamir Khan’s new TV show won many accolades and evoked a range of emotions as it dealt with the sensitive issue of female foeticide in the first episode of his much awaited TV show Satyamev Jayate .

However, CNN IBN reported that singer-composer Palash Sen of the pop band Euphoria was not very pleased with the  anthem of the show Satyamev Jayate. Sen alleged the chorus of the show’s title track had been lifted from Euphoria’s decade-old song, which was coincidentally also called Satyamev Jayate.

Sen has filed a case against Ram Sampath, the music director of the show for allegedly plagiarising the title track . The song concerned is from the album Phir Dhoom.

Sen says he didn’t file any case before the telecast of Satyamev Jayate because he hadn’t seen the video of the song. According to Sen, the similarities between his song and the tune used in the chorus of Satyamev Jayate are striking.

The first episode of Satyamev Jayate was aired on 6th May and focussed on female foeticide and its impact.
