Aamir Khan stayed true to his promise. Just as he had earlier said , in the second poster of PK, there is indeed no transistor. However, there’s a whole lot more that we hope will make sense when the film comes out, because at the moment, it’s not telling us much. This time round, Khan is seen completely dressed, from head to toe, in a printed Rajasthani angrakha and white pajamas. The Rajasthani theme continues till his toes, sheathed as they are in a pair of Jodhpuri jutis with twirly tips. [caption id=“attachment_1673229” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] The second poster of PK. Courtesy: Twitter[/caption] The only conclusion that we’ve reached about PK after seeing the two posters is that music will play a big part in Khan’s character in the film. In the first poster, he was holding a boombox to protect his modesty. In the second, the actor is carrying the tuba, in the tradition of a good old fashioned wedding bandwallah. Unlike those gents, however, Khan is wearing aviator sunglasses. He’s looking a little less peeved than he was in the first poster. It’s almost as though he’s reacting to how people didn’t appreciate his and director Raj Kumar Hirani’s artistic efforts in the previous poster and how one went to the extent of filing PILs against him . You’d think he’d be giggling at the way the Supreme Court dismissed the case, but no such luck. Though, if one had to wear all that clothing and carry a tuba in tropical weather, it would make sense that they would look miffed. The actor revealed the new poster on his Twitter account and said: With the plot of PK being a closely-guarded secret, it is difficult to understand anything about PK from just two posters. There are rumours that Khan is playing an alien who lands on earth (which would certainly explain his elvish ears). Although at the moment PK looks like a one man show, there are other well-known actors in the film, like Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh. Reportedly, PK is a satire about “Hindu Gods and their godmen.” The film is scheduled to release on 19th December.
