Mallika says that she likes Cannes because it is an event that amalgamates various cultures.

” I love the fact that it is a meeting point of various cultures. There is an Indian pavilion right next to it there is an American pavilion and then there is a Qatar pavilion. Where else in the world do you see this?” Mallika said.

Mallika, who walked the red carpet for the premiere of Madagascar 3, showed off her back in a plunging backless nude coloured gown. The dress was held together by a thin waist belt.

Talking about her outfit, Mallika said ” I am wearing a couture outfit that was literally stitched on my body, in the room, a few minutes back. It is designed by Ali Mahdavi, a great fashion icon in France.”

Winged eyeliner, a bouffant hairdo and a pair of classic diamond earrings added to the actress’ look who is perhaps better known for her outfits and red carpet appearances.
