Konkona, Ranvir heading for divorce?

by Sep 13, 2012

One of the Bollywood’s best known couple’s relationship may be on the rocks, if reports are to be believed. Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma have reportedly called off their marriage and are contemplating ending it, according to a Mumbai Mirror report.

The two-year old marriage hit a rough patch earlier this year and may just be ending soon, according to the tabloid.  Mirror reports the couple are considering taking the legal route to terminate their marriage following “irreconcilable differences.”

However, this isn’t the first time that the couple’s marriage has made headlines.

In May, media reports predicted the actors’ relationship was in trouble when Sen Sharma and Shorey arrived for a film screening separately, sat far apart in the auditorium, did not greet each other, and left separately.

When Shorey was asked about this, he seemed uninterested and replied that both of them “are not conjoined twins and hence cannot be together all the time.”

Sen Sharma and Shorey married in 2010 in a private ceremony after dating for many years. The couple have a baby boy, who was born earlier this year.

Despite dating for over four years, the couple had postponed their wedding on more than one occasion.

But is the rumour of divorce true this time? We hope not.
