There has been immense buzz around the fact that Shah Rukh Khan might have a cameo in Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
The rumours started when SRK was spotted in London where the film was being shot.
However, once the trailer of the film released and we got a whiff of the the story, the likeliness of a cameo increased.
However, putting rest to all rumours and speculation, Karan Johar himself confirmed the news, in a recent chat he had at the ongoing Toronto International Film Festival.
During a one hour long chat at TIFF, he spoke at length about his films, the Bollywood lineage, Dharma Productions and also his next film.
When the host of the talk asked Johar about his relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, he said:
"Shah Rukh and I have an amazing rapport. I haven't directed him in seven years, but he did a scene for me in my upcoming film, which will release in Diwali, and after all this time I realised nothing has changed. He knew exactly what I was expecting, and I knew exactly what he was going to do. Ranbir had told me, 'what you guys have is an aspiration for an actor'."
So there you have it. From the horse's mouth himself. Watch the entire conversation at TIFF below (you can scroll to the 24th minute to hear about the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil cameo)
