by Sep 11, 2012

The much talked about Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer romance from the Yash Raj stable, finally has a name. The highly anticipated movie has been titled Jab Tak Hai Jaan.  Posters of the film adorned the front pages of national dailies today, showing actor Shah Rukh Khan in army fatigues riding a Royal Enfield motorcycle.

This Yash Chopra film was one of the first Bollywood films to have released a first look without giving out a name.

The film, a love triangle, marks the return of Yash Chopra as a director after eight years. Chopra had earlier said: “Everyone knows that when I make a movie, Shah Rukh will be involved with it. He is like family to Yash Raj Films and I have always regarded him as one of my own.”

The screenplay has been written by Aditya Chopra who is also producing the film under the Yash Raj Films banner.

Ace music director and Oscar winner AR Rahman has composed the music for the film.

According to the official synopsis, Shah Rukh Khan would play out his character down two stages of life – first as a young man in his 20s, then as a matured army officer. Katrina’s role was described as “the archetypal Yash Chopra seductress; an unattainable beauty”.

The film is scheduled for a Diwali release on 13 November, 2012.
