Hrithik Roshan filmed his on-screen wedding with Priyanka Chopra yesterday at the famous Babulnath temple in Mumbai amidst tight security and excited on-lookers. It was a morning shift and by the time they were done filming in the evening, there was pandemonium on the streets when word got out that he was shooting in the area. The sequence was for his next film, Agneepath, produced by Karan Johar and directed by debutant Karan Malhotra. Hrithik and Priyanka were dressed up as a Maharashtrian couple as they went through the filming of the marriage ceremony inside the temple. It starred Amitabh Bachchan and his superb portrayal of the Vijay Dinanath Chauhan character makes it one of the most memorable and loved performances of all time. The trailers of the new Agneepath look very promising and Hrithik, being his modest self, has on many occasions said he could never recreate the magic of Amitabh Bachchan as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, but he would try and do his best in this version. Well, Hrithik is an accomplished actor and a very successful star so it shouldn’t be very difficult for him. The film releases on 10 January, 2012, which coincidentally is also Hrithik’s birthday.
