Mumbai: Hinting at TV actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s death, actress-cum-BJP MP Hema Malini said ending one’s life is not a solution to any problem as “the world admires a fighter, not a loser”. Hema Malini tweeted:
Pratyusha, who found fame through her portrayal of the grown-up Anandi in popular TV show “Balika Vadhu”, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her home in Goregaon here on Friday evening. Hema Malini attacked the media for its coverage of the death. However, a lot of twitter users didn’t agree with the dream girl.
@dreamgirlhema You just lost all my respect. It is because of stoic elders like you, young minds in the country have mental health issues.

@dreamgirlhema With all due respect, we have no right to judge her too. Having said that, I don't support suicide but we shud refrain ...

@dreamgirlhema this is utter insensitive, suicide may not be a solution but ranting about a deceased certainly doesn't make you look GREAT!

@dreamgirlhema The world admires someone who can keep their mouth shut and give respect to a dead person, not an irresponsible blabbermouth.

@dreamgirlhema Have some empathy, and if not that then at least some decency. A girl has lost her life!
