Dirty Picture actors, Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi team up for Ghanchakkar

by Nov 23, 2012

Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi, last seen onscreen together in the 2011 smash hit, The Dirty Picture, have teamed up once again for UTV’s next, Ghanchakkar.

The actors were filming a sequence on Thursday night at the Goregaon station in Mumbai, which was anything but deserted, even past midnight.

Platform number 5 was swarming with security personnel trying to control the daily commuters who were trying to catch a glimpse of the popular stars. The scene appeared to be one in which Emraan argues with Vidya about traveling in the train compartment that she is in.

Ghanchakkar is being directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, whose first film, Aamir (2008) starring Rajeev Khandelwal was widely appreciated and followed it up with No One Killed Jessica (2011) with two stellar actresses, Vidya Balan and Rani Mukerji playing the lead parts.

Vidya is set to marry UTV’s Siddharth Roy Kapur next month, though the low-key couple has not admitted to the upcoming nuptials so far.
