On Friday night, Aditya Chopra, the scion of the Yash Raj film empire, went out on a romantic dinner date with his girlfriend Rani Mukerji to the Michelin starred Chinese restaurant, Hakkasan in Bandra, Mumbai. Both Aditya and Rani were dressed in black and looked like, well, a couple in black! The couple chose an enclosed, corner table at the restaurant and enjoyed their dinner together, without the usual frills and fuss that accompanies Bollywood celebrities. Rani had the look of a woman in love as she spent time with her man at the restaurant.
Of late, the reticent Chopra seems to have relaxed his guard as far as his relationship with Rani is concerned. He was seen with her publicly on the sets of his father, Yash Chopra’s directorial film in London not too long ago, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif and last night, his romantic dinner date with her. But that doesn’t mean Chopra’s going to be obliging paparazzos with his mug anytime soon — his hide and seek with the cameras is legend.

Whilst there is immense speculation on the Saif-Kareena wedding date which has changed a couple of times due to reasons best known to the couple, there is even more talk on the Rani-Aditya wedding day since a date has never been set for their nuptials. The loved-up couple has been going out for a number of years now and their relationship culminating in a marriage seemed most likely. But their relationship status is up for speculation every now and then since no wedding date has been set. Of course, some insiders have even gone as far as to claim that they are already married.

Rani is a regular at the Chopra home, Adityodaya, in Juhu, and has found acceptance with his parents, but even though she may be the love of Aditya’s life, he has to put a ring on it, and soon!
