Mumbai: Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who is directing "Ugly", has launched a digital poster giving a sneak peek into the psychological thriller.
Dramatic and suspenseful, the poster, unveiled on YouTube, captures mysterious elements like a cat crossing a dark lane, while a street shop's light is blinking away.
The filmmaker has also changed his Twitter handle to "UGLYAnurag".
"Ugly", starring Ronit Roy, Tejaswini Kolhapure, Vinit Kumar Singh and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles, has been shortlisted for Directors’ Fortnight, an independent section at the Cannes Film Festival.
Kashyap's last directorial venture was two-part crime thriller “Gangs of Wasseypur”. He had previously directed “Dev D”, “Gulaal” and “Black Friday”.
