After Ranbir Kapoor, it was Katrina Kaif's turn to open up about their break-up in a Rajeev Masand interview.
Speaking to the entertainment editor of CNN News18 in the run-up to her upcoming release Baar Baar Dekho she opened up about her personal life, which has garnered a tremendous amount of attention.
When asked how she dealt with the attention, this is what the actress had to say: “In some way, all the attention is a good thing as it forces you to step up. It forces you not to indulge in self-pity. It forces you to get yourself together and stand up quicker. You want to show your best face to the world...There are moments in one’s life where things can’t be tougher. But I take those moments as a challenge.”
During the break-up the couple were working on their upcoming film Jagga Jasoos, which apparently faced some delays due to their personal issues.
Speaking on the difficulty in being professional when one's personal life is in turmoil she said, "Being an actor is quite a luxurious job. But if I worked in an office or had a normal job, you are still going to go to work and you would still be required to do your job. But you are still feeling the same.”
Ranbir Kapoor, in his interview, had said that Katrina Kaif was the most "influential entity" in his life after his parents. He had even said that there was no awkwardness between them and he would love to work with her again.
