Aamir Khan turns 47 today

Mumbai: Bollywood’s ‘Mr Perfectionist’ actor Aamir Khan, who turns 47 today, is busy shooting for his debut television reality show on his birthday.

Aamir would make his debut on the small screen with a reality show, to be aired on Star Plus in two months’ time. “I am shooting for the TV show today. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to celebrate it with the family. Usually, I make sure I am with my family today. But I am very excited about the show,” Aamir told reporters here.

“The team of Star TV and all of us are trying to do something different. We are working on the show since two years. This is an ambitious project,” he said. Reportedly, the show is titled, ‘Satyamev Jayate’.

“The show would go on air soon, say in two months or so. It would be spread across 13 weeks. We have traveled across the country for the show by various modes of transport, including train,” he said.

Aamir is overwhelmed with the wishes and love from his fans. “Birthday comes every year, I feel everyday must be of the same importance. I thank god for the success, love and respect. On a personal front, I am happy for the new member in our family, our son, Azad,” Aamir said.

“I will try to spend more and more time with my family. I also thank my loved ones for showing their support and love,” he said.
