Yesterday’s open nominations created a lot of havoc with Bigg Boss 10 contestants coming near to blows, there’s also exchange of cuss words and verbal spat leading to a hostile atmosphere in the house. This violent situation continues the next day, but we will come to that later.
The next morning was an unusual one with the housemates after waking up to the song ‘Aap Ka Kya Hoga’, find all their belongings missing from the house. Obviously, everybody is left wondering and while clearing the confusion, Bigg Boss introduces the ‘Lock down’ luxury budget task where the contestants need to survive without their basic utilities, including clothes, food and shelter and have to win them back through the task.
For the same, Bigg Boss keeps clothes and other essentials of the contestants in containers placed in the living area. Giving the task an authentic look and appeal, the housemates dress up like nomads as they are provided with a piece of jute cloth to wear and a hearth to cook. They are also required to spend the entire night in the garden area and are only allowed to use the jail’s washroom.
While Rohan and Mona Lisa are elected as the captains, the contestants are divided into teams with Rahul, Lopa, Karan, Bani and Lokesh being in Rohan’s team and Gaurav, Manu, Manveer, Swami and Nitibha in Monalisa’s team. Whenever the gong bell rings, the captains along with one team member gets a chance to bring a maximum of four essentials at a time from the containers. But, for whatever essential they pick up, one point will be added to their kitty and the team with maximum points on their scoreboard loses the task. While most of the housemates decide to give up on their essentials, Karan, Nitibha and Om Swami refuse to compromise on few things and as a result , they gain points.
As Monalisa tries hard to convince Om Swami to give up on his clothes, he tells her that he doesn’t consider her to be the team’s captain and hence he won't listen to her. Irritated with Om Swami’s behavior, Manu tells him that if doesn’t surrender his clothes within five minutes, he will remove them and snatch it away from him and in the process Manu and Om Swami once again get violent with each other.
Om Swami, is clearly seen supporting Rohan’s team and he gives him ideas to increase opposition team’s points and Rohan takes full advantage of the situation. Amazed at Om Swami’s move, Manveer refuses to give him food. In fact, Manveer, who appears quite fed up with Om Swami’s behaviour is once heard saying that had he known this side of Swami, he would have never come on the show. Lopa and Rohan feel bad for Swami and serve him their share of food. Later, when Swami asks water from Rohan’s team, Lokesh goes and tells Mona’s team to offer water to him. Annoyed with Lokesh for talking on his behalf, Nitibha taunts him by saying that he can ask for things himself and not use Lokesh as the medium.
Later, when Om Swami wanted to attend to the nature’s call, Manveer ran towards the jail bathroom (because the main washrooms are locked as a part of the task) and locked himself inside. This was the funniest moment, we must say and everybody is amused by the same.
Giving both the teams a fair chance to reduce their points, Bigg Boss introduces a new task where the challengers from each team need to finish an entire bowl of Rosogulla. Rahul and Manu are elected by their respective teams to participate in the task. However, both the captains complain to Bigg Boss about the elected representatives cheating and hence the Rosogulla task is discarded by Bigg Boss.
Mona finds Karan using a pillow and informs his team that she will add points to their scoreboard since Rohan has broken the rules. While team’s captain Rohan gives a befitting reply to Mona, they both get into a scuffle. Manveer also gets involved and they both have a massive fight.
In the evening, Bigg boss gives the contestants another chance to reduce their points by introducing a task where two challengers have to drink 'Karela' juice. The challenger who finishes the 'Karela' juice first wins the task. Lopa and Gaurav are elected from the respective teams to compete in the task. Meanwhile, Gaurav, who is in the opposite team as Bani, tells Bani that his team members doubt his loyalty and feel that he was against them.
Now, we don’t know about Karan and Rahul, but Salman’s criticism of taking it easy, looks like, hit Rohan way too hard. The Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame actor, who was maintaining a low key throughout the last week finally got into action mode. His fight with Manveer got so ugly that the two started hurling abuses at each other. Manveer called Rohan “chakka”, which obviously didn’t go down well with the TV actor, who gave it back to Manveer by calling him fake and added a gender-related remark.
It didn’t end there. Manveer lost his cool and threw away his mic and refused to wear it. That is when Bigg Boss summoned the two inside the confession room and asked Manveer to wear his mic as he was going against the rules of the house. Manveer and Rohan continued to have heated argument in the confession room and Bigg Boss told them in clear terms that they can’t be commenting on religion, caste or about any group or community, in a derogatory manner.
