WRC 2016: Ogier wins shortened Rally Sweden

Despite running for two days in disadvantageous conditions as first car on the road, Volkswagen driver Sebastien Ogier dominated the dramatically shortened Swedish Rally, in which late cancellation of the whole event was averted when wintry weather finally arrived on the first day of the rally. A splendid first appearance by Hayden Paddon in a New Generation Hyundai brought second place ahead of Mads Ostberg’s Fiesta, with Andreas Mikkelsen fourth after delays by two driving errors.
